From visual design to product concepts to user experience and market research, we work closely with our stakeholders to facilitate the best solutions for our customers and partners. An exciting opportunity now exists to join our team as a Lead/Senior UI Designer (all genders).

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Create stylistic and motion design concepts for instrument interfaces in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Find motion design ideas to represent key interactions on the main interface.
  • Translate stylistic direction into expressive, engaging graphics.
  • Brief external artists to translate stylistic direction into expressive, engaging graphics.
  • Support Partners and Product designers with wireframes.
  • Help to establish empowering usability strategies.
  • Translate wireframes into visual functional UI designs.
  • Deliver high quality production in line with Native Instruments' visual identity.
  • Work with Frontend Developers to implement assets.

 

 

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in UI/Motion design.
  • Understanding of 3D software (C4D, Blender).
  • Skills in visual communication (graphic design, iconography, typography, animation).
  • Proficiency in conceptualising, presenting, and executing ideas.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to various audiences – from executives to product owners and designers, as well as fluent English language skills.
  • Technical and artistic problem solving.
  • Strong understanding of graphic software (Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Expertise in creating multi-platform compatible UI assets.
  • Pro-activity, self-motivation and organisation.
  • Ability to guide and mentor Junior Designers.
