About The Team

The Instruments & Sounds team is at the core of our Komplete business. We are crafting a state of the art catalog of instruments with a steady stream of new releases to fuel the creativity of our users. We collaborate with other teams and external partners to discover and explore new concepts and ideas. We aspire to deliver best in class instruments and cover a wide range of use cases. Join us as Product Manager for this team to guide product creation from conception to launch!

Your Contribution

  • Reporting to the Associate Director of Instruments & Sounds, you will own the portfolio of instruments targeted towards producers and beatmakers as a part of the Instruments & Sounds team;
  • You will lead the creation of genre-specific content across multiple platforms, including Play Series, Maschine and Leap Expansions, and the development of loop-based instruments such as Kontakt Leap.
  • Contribute to all stages of the product development cycle: including user research, design, discovery, planning, business case development, testing, iterative feedback, execution, release, and post-launch activities.
  • You will work closely with a large variety of stakeholders in UI/UX Design, Sound Design, Engineering, and Marketing, as well as various external partners;
  • Stay ahead of the curve by constantly exploring upcoming genres, market trends, and competitive landscapes, and leverage thorough data analysis to inform decision-making.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • You bring professional expertise gained specifically from roles in Product Management;
  • You have a strong interest in sample packs and software instruments commonly used by music producers and beatmakers, along with a passion for digital music production;
  • You stay up-to-date with current music genres.
  • You have a habit of approaching problems with curiosity and creativity, you are able to switch between pragmatic/hands-on tasks and more strategic, out-of-the-box thinking;
  • You value collaboration and empathy, being able to follow this approach in everyday problem-solving.
