About the team
We're a diverse and distributed team, with members in Germany who work with colleagues with teams worldwide. We are driving the development of Maschine, Komplete Kontrol, NKS, and plugin hosting software. With a focus on musical creation features to help musicians bring their ideas to life and inspire them. Like many other teams at NI, we're proud to see our products being used by our favourite artists, and strive to get new features in their hands with every update!
Your Contribution
- Write modern, clean and maintainable application code for multiple platforms
- Use technologies such as C++, Qt, Qml, CMake, Boost, Python and Lua
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers and product owners to solve challenging issues
Our Ideal Candidate
- Solid understanding and demonstrable skills in a low-level language such as modern C++, Rust, modern C, Zig, etc. If it is not already your background, you would upskill in modern C++ when joining.
- A solid understanding of music theory and/or audio DSP with examples of work.
- knowledge of music production tools and workflows in one DAW
- Work effectively in a team and with team members in remote locations
- An open-minded approach valuing alternative viewpoints from colleagues
- A desire to learn and share knowledge as part of a community of software engineers
