About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager at NewsBreak, you will play a pivotal role in steering the growth and evolution of NewsBreak Ads. With a focus on innovative approaches and a growth-driven mindset, you will spearhead horizontal partnerships and 0-1 projects that not only enhance brand awareness and user experience but also test new revenue growth channels. Collaborating closely within the Monetization Team, you will spearhead initiatives ranging from establishing a partnership ecosystem within Ad Manager to testing new programmatic growth channels.
Responsibilities
- Have a deep understanding of the performance advertising ecosystem, both direct on O&O properties and programmatic
- Identify potential partners, negotiate terms, and establish collaborations that amplify platform capabilities and extend market reach. Your efforts will focus on integrating value-adding partners into the platform ecosystem
- Develop and execute strategies to recruit and onboard strategic advertising partners at scale
- Identify brand awareness opportunities through partnerships
- Represent NewsBreak Ad Platform at conferences and speaking engagements
- Quantify the impact from the supported partnerships and events ensuring positive ROI
- Pioneer the partnerships tab in NewsBreak Ad Manager
- Build supply growth channel GTM strategy
- Provide insightful feedback to influence our product vision and roadmap, based on industry trends and client needs
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent practical experience
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in business development within the performance and programmatic advertising industry
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
- Drive and Resilience: Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, global organization. Willingness to step out of the comfort zone and go the extra mile to achieve results
- Leadership Experience in leading teams and projects in a cross-functional environment from 0-1
