Senior Product Designer (FinTech)

We have an exciting role within our Product team for a versatile and energetic UX Designer based in the US, Canada or UK. The Senior Product Designer is responsible for delivering a simple and engaging experience across a complex set of payments products and features. They will work with a team of designers, engineers, and product managers to create user-centered designs that meet the needs of users and business goals.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the UX design of complex products and features
- Design net new and improve on existing mobile, desktop and payment device experiences
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Analyze user feedback and engagement data, incorporate findings into designs
- Benchmark designs against competitors in the space and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on the latest UX trends and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in designing and shipping web and mobile products
- Experience with a variety of UX design tools and techniques
- Strong user research and usability testing skills
- A good understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
- Cares deeply about understanding our users, including conducting UX research to unblock team and design direction
- Experience with A/B testing and accessibility testing
- Excellent communication, presentation and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical aptitude and confident learning new technologies
- Understanding of Agile software development cycle is desirable
- Ability to recognise change in project scope and adjust designs accordingly
- Ability to recognise high-level opportunities for improvement and change
- Proficiency with Figma, Jira, Google Docs, and Confluence is desirable
- Self starter with a “Can Do” attitude, a voracious learning appetite and desire to improve
