NMI is looking for an experienced branding and communications marketer to develop, plan, and implement NMI marketing strategies that drive engagement and awareness. The individual will have experience with the full marketing canvas, with a specialty in building compelling and emotive brands through strong messaging, compelling visuals, and powerful communications.

Develop, plan & manage the annual marketing plan, budget and calendar, in association with the CMO and the marketing leadership team. The annual plan supports NMI’s overall business objectives, outlining the strategies, tactics and resources necessary and aligns marketing with product and sales to drive growth, partner satisfaction and brand recognition.

Shape the brand experience - Build brand experiences that enhance the company's reputation and achieve measurable outcomes by driving awareness, perception, and preference. Ensure the development, planning and execution of compelling and inspiring brand campaigns that can be used for product launches, demand generations and channel campaigns. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to articulate the unique value proposition we offer in the marketplace and ensure it is communicated across all marketing channels to prospects, partners and customers. Ensure that prospect and customer facing communications (including website, newsletter, digital marketing) are compelling and engaging, while compiling with all brand standards.

Develop the communications strategy - Develop and execute a communications strategy that drives thought leadership, brand and engagement from external and internal stakeholders. In collaboration with product, marketing, and the people teams direct programs that improve the perception of NMI with our employees, partners, prospects and merchants. Direct social media efforts on across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Expand partnership with social media influencers to increase the company’s brand reach and strength. Drive key metrics that demonstrate the impact of the marketing and public relation strategies and tactics to brand awareness and engagement.

Orchestrate our integrated campaign strategy – Drive core themes, programs and content that results in compelling and inspiring marketing campaigns that complement our product, demand gen and channel programs. Ensure marketing strategies and tactics are aligned across marketing and sales. Orchestrate cross-functional execution and balance investments that drive brand, engagement and buying decisions.

Plan and spearhead corporate marketing events that enhance our brand in the payments market. Manage the content team, creating and building short and long form content that drives thought leadership and complements our demand generation and channel efforts.

Manage PR, social media, and creative agencies to scale the marketing organization.

  • 10+ years in senior marketing B2B roles in a payment software, SaaS and/or technology company, including at least 3 years of management and leadership, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or communications,
  • Organized professional with a strong work ethic and ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced and changing marketing and technology environment.
  • Experience in all aspects of the marketing mix especially brand, communications and digital marketing.
  • Leadership skills to lead cross functional teams across, sales, partners, creative services, events, digital to create and execute global marketing strategies that create awareness and brand affinity.
  • Experience across multiple geographies with a proven record of marketing globally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and influencing skills, demonstrated through an ability to work cross-functionally at peer and executive leadership levels in order to achieve company goals
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically.
  • Excellent written and communications skills; experience presenting to C-level executives.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in the fintech market preferably in payment software.
  • Ecommerce, SaaS software and/or Payments experience
  • Experiences with the entire marketing mix, with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities across the marketing organization.
