Purpose of Role
We’re looking for an accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate thrives when challenged and is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. If you have attention to detail and can work in an accurate manner, then we are looking forward to hearing from you!
In your role as Associate Accounting Services, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions for the various companies in our group. You will be in contact with colleagues across the whole organisation.
Overall responsibility
Your main responsibility will be to handle customer inquiries related to invoices and payments. Additionally, to ensure the ERP system is updated with accurate customer data.
Aside from the accounting perspective, this role is important for us to retain good relations with our customers. You will work closely both within the team as well as with other departments in the organization
The area of responsibility includes:
- Monitor and resolve customer tickets related to invoices.
- Support the collection team with following up on claims and payment registrations
- Maintain and update customer data in the ERP system (NetSuite). Various change order types on new and existing customers
- Manage customer agreements in nShift platforms.
- Address inquiries from Sales and Customer Success teams regarding invoices and agreements.
- Resolve customer questions about invoices and agreements.
- Support senior accountants in preparing reports as needed.
- Participate and contribute to weekly team meetings
Assist with other accounting, reporting, and customer-related projects.
Competence and experience
- Experience as a junior accountant would be a plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
- Experience with professional accounting software would be a plus
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is preferred
- Service-minded, well-organized, and positive attitude
- Analytical-minded with great attention to detail and the ability to focus
- High working capacity and the ability to work independently
- Team player with good collaboration and communication skills
