Job Title: Planner, DTC

JOB SUMMARY

The Planner is responsible for ensuring the item level sales forecast supports the business objectives. They will use predictive methodologies to maximize sales, increase inventory turns and optimize in-stock for NZXT DTC. This is a key position for cash flow optimization and open to buy management. The individual should exude business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging data to make fact-based decisions. The Planner will have the opportunity to build new structures and processes to strengthen the Planning foundation at NZXT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and manage rolling 18 month sales and inventory forecast for 500+ SKUs across all global regions
  • Manage each SKU’s life cycle by generating forecasts for new products and end of life exceptions
  • Work closely with global operations to execute inventory buys and achieve turn targets
  • Analyze strategy (e.g. promotional, price adjustments, marketing activities) impacts to baseline forecasts and ensures appropriate sales lifts are applied
  • Identify risks and opportunities in sales and inventory; provide action plans on a weekly basis
  • Create and maintain all weekly reporting and recaps such as Sell Thru reports
  • Measure, track and report forecast accuracy, inventory performance and corrective actions to drive improved outputs and ensure objectives are met
  • Support with ad-hoc analytical projects based on business needs
  • Organize and analyze large data sets within Google Sheets/Excel
  • Understand data structure to support Planning tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years analytical experience
  • Takes initiative; ability to assess challenges in current processes
  • Advanced business knowledge of forecasting concepts
  • Accomplishments of forecast accuracy, lean inventory and low excess inventory
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (can perform complex functions) and open to new systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Be able to demonstrate & implement process improvement and maintain measurable metrics
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in the US and overseas
  • Experience with SQL database preferred but not required
