JOB SUMMARY
NZXT is focused on developing high quality products designed to meet our gaming customers’ needs. This is an exciting and challenging position within a growing company to launch and ramp new products. NZXT is looking for a NPI&Ops PM to support our Supply Operations organization for NZXT’s growing product portfolio. The ideal candidate we are looking for is someone who enjoys launching consumer electronics products, a leader who is working cross-functionally to drive process definition, improvement, and scale, and successfully and consistently delivering results. When required, they should not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to simply get the job done. NPI & Ops Mgr will have strong attention to detail and polished communication skills. Ideally, this person comes from a program management, supply management, or operations background. This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks in parallel. NPI & Ops Mgr will own and lead the project execution from DVT exit through MP and product ramp, be responsible for the production schedule, material readiness, action coordination, execution, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a subject matter expert on NPI and operation, make a real impact to how NZXT works
  • Drive suppliers to meet product demand and shipment targets on time and in quantity
  • Drive the cross-functional execution to deliver programs on time and to objectives
  • Coordinate closely across functions (Hardware and Software Engineering teams, EPM, Logistics teams, Planning, Supplier Quality Mgr, Supplier Mgr…etc) to deliver programs on time and to objectives
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to ensure phase gate metrics are met, material and factory prepared for production ramp, and meet defined schedules
  • Host and own the Operations meeting, provide program and schedule updates on a weekly/monthly basis to the organization, drive working meetings, advising and/or managing budgets
  • Work collaboratively and actively resolve conflicts and roadblocks
  • Identify, anticipate, and communicate problems, risks and gaps. Provide mitigation recommendations, as needed
  • Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans)
  • ECR/ECN review and monitor as a gatekeeper to smoothly phase-in ramp/MP

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree with a Business, Operations, or Engineering, or Scientific discipline required; graduate degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with New Product Introduction for consumer electronics products in an operations/manufacturing role
  • Thorough working knowledge of Operations’ role in hardware product development process in a consumer electronics environment or similar industry
  • Working knowledge of lean six sigma and process improvement methodologies
  • Familiar with launching both module and products: audio, cases, coolers, keyboard, mouse…etc
  • Engineering background or experience is a plus
  • Experience managing ODM suppliers and component suppliers

SKILLS

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Will be leading meetings with diverse team where English is the language spoken
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; take past experiences and apply methodologies that works for NZXT
  • Experience in leadership through cross-functional team management, and influencing at all levels of management
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, responsive environment where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel
  • Highly innovative, flexible, and self-directed. Track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high growth environment
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
