JOB SUMMARY:

Are you passionate about transforming HR Operations and helping to shape an engaging workplace culture? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of HR Operations to join our team at an exciting time! This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and enhance our People Team Operations across the US, with oversight of global payroll and US Business Partner functions.

The successful candidate will be pivotal in streamlining HR processes, upgrading our HRIS platforms, and leading their team to ensure compliance and effective delivery of HR services. RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

  • Develop and implement HR operational strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee global payroll operations ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR operations budgets and ensure cost-effective practices.
  • Optimize and upgrade HR Information Systems (HRIS) to enhance HR operational efficiency.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout HR operations by:
    • Monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
    • Overseeing workers' compensation, unemployment, and disability claims
    • Supporting investigations and records administration

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP:

  • Integrate established strategic philosophies for the company into current HR programs and practices.
  • Act as a key partner in enhancing US compensation programs, assessing competitiveness and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Analyze trends and metrics within the HR department to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & TALENT MANAGEMENT:

  • Lead and support the US Business Partner functions to align HR strategies with business needs.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Act as an additional resource and support to the US talent acquisition process for key roles.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of our talent.
  • Mentor and enhance the skills of the US team through targeted training and guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience as an HR Operations Manager, Director of HR, or similar role with responsibility for payroll, business partner functions and enhancing operational practices and processes.
  • Strong experience with HR metrics and optimizing HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state, federal employment laws.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

COMPENSATION:

The estimated base range for this role is: $150,000 - $175,000. This position is bonus eligible. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, internal equity and alignment with market data. We offer a wide range of benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement and paid time off. All employees at NZXT receive equity as part of their compensation package.
