Job Title: Production Operations Manager, DTC
Reports to: Director - Global Operations DTC
Location: Monrovia, CA and City of Industry, CA

JOB SUMMARY
You are an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our outsourced manufacturing operations and services based in California US. You possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record in managing outsourced production processes. The Production Operations Manager, DTC will be responsible for ensuring efficient production schedules, maintaining quality standards, optimizing cost-effectiveness, ensuring all orders and services are fulfilled on time and to a high quality standard by fostering collaborative relationships with external manufacturing partners and internal business stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall performance of all activities with the California based U.S production partner.
- Forecast production requirements, assess resource availability, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate capacity to meet demand while optimizing inventory levels to meet the customer SLA.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments to make sure the production schedule is on track and clear customer updates and communication.
- Monitor and evaluate production activities to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Work with the quality team for corrective measures as needed to address deviations and optimize performance.
- Work with the Engineering and Sales team to ensure new products and services are implemented smoothly and on time with the production partner.
- Take part and lead continuous improvement programs by continuously evaluating production processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and put forward initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners, facilitating clear communication, resolving issues, and fostering collaborative relationships.
- Prepare and maintain production reports
- Process flow and procedure development.
- Review and audit all DTC invoices.
- Special projects from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- The ability to coach and mentor employees both in a one-on-one and a group basis.
- 5+ years in the computer industry or production industry in a management capacity
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and complianceA proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
- Excellent project management skills.
COMPENSATION
The estimated base range for this role is: $95,000 - $116,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, internal equity and alignment with market data.
