Job Title: NPI Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Dongguan / Shenzhen, China
JOB SUMMARY
The NPI Manufacturing Engineering Engineer is a key role in the growth and financial success of NZXT. We are focused on developing high quality products designed to meet our gaming customers’ needs. This is an exciting and challenging position within a growing company that provides support for NZXT components to ensure excellent product quality, customer satisfaction, and product safety, and compliance.
We are looking for a person with excellent judgement, strong operating skills, direct experience with consumer electronics products and compliance strategies to support our growing business. The role requires interacting with cross-functional teams to balance current and future business needs while protecting both the gaming customers and NZXT brand. If you are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, willing to roll up your sleeves and solve challenging problems, this may be the role for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives DVT to MP phase for new product introductions in the ODM factory and at subcontracted partners.
- Reviews DFM with RD to ensure the new product is easy to manufacture.
- Evaluate the assembly, testing fixtures and inspection method what are capable( Product protection, Error Proof, easy maintenance).
- Ensure factory capacity (equipment, material and workforce) is in place to meet demand and resolve issue in a timely manner.
- Works with RD and ODM factory to ensure that all design and manufacturing issues are solved before DVT and PVT respectively.
- Review testing plan and SOP to ensure key parameters of testing and manufacturing are correctly deployed at ODM factory.
- Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risks and status clearly and succinctly.
- Review DVT samples at ODM factory, and co-work with RD to resolve issue before DVT exit.
- Ensure the PVT Yield rate reach target and 1st MP Yield Rate improvement at ODM suppliers. Lead to analyze and resolve the issue at PVT build and 1st MP.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years experience in mechanical DFM generates innovative solution.
- Ability to generate project requirements, resolve product/process problems, support the development of new products/processes
- Manage all quality-related issues within the supplier manufacturing for 6 years
- Professional Experience in consumer electronics or product manufacturing.
- Experience with Project Management is a plus.
- Fluent in English written, verbal and reading skills.
