Job SummaryDevelops alliances with key executives in automotive and other markets with a particular emphasis on the aftermarket segment, to assist sales team in negotiations and selling large business commercial transactions for OEC’s products and services. Manages existing aftermarket customer relationships and identifies opportunities to grow the accounts. Serves as interface between OEC and assigned accounts to identify sales and partnership opportunities. Provides leadership and direction regarding assigned international markets to OEC teams who are actively engaged in product, marketing, customer support and related activities. Provides strong business results, strategic direction, and drives incremental sales.Key Responsibilities 1. Develops, nurtures and maintains in-depth and comprehensive customer relationships and contacts for assigned accounts to produce strong business results for the Company by leveraging alliances.2. Executes business development and sales goals for automotive and other markets through extensive market research and intelligence to enable the direct sale of OEC products and services.3. Understands and possesses specific market intelligence and knowledge for the assigned region; drives this understanding throughout the organization to meet local product market needs.4. Provides executive guidance and direction on assigned accounts for trade, contractual, board and other meetings, to keep high priority accounts in excellent standing.5. Provides solution deployment and implementation support.6. Ensures continued innovation, development, and execution of ongoing business strategies with a clear vision for long-term opportunities with Accounts.7. Provides regular forecasts by customer and product/service and contributes to strategy planning and budget processes.8. Partners with resources of OEC (Product, Customer Support, other) to ensure quality and customer satisfaction9. Assists in managing relationships with third party business partners.10. Partners with OEC’s Product group to define local and regional business needs as it relates to product requirements; provides detailed information to tailor solutions to meet local market needs.11. Develops top line sales through implementing business development plans within the international market to meet or exceed Company strategy and business goals.12. Monitors data currency and provides reports to both OEC and the Accounts regarding performance and results.13. Keeps informed on markets and competition servicing assigned markets including automotive and other industrials.14. Develops presentations and additional support collateral in conjunction with Marketing and utilizes information when developing new opportunities for business and sales growth; pursues opportunities that appear unique to each assigned account in terms of marketing and operations.15. Develops proposals and negotiates terms and conditions in collaboration with leadership, when implementing contractual agreements.EducationA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.ExperienceAt least 6 years of experience in sales or national accounts within automotive or related industry, plus prior experience working in a high-growth technology company servicing complex industrial customers, and a proven track record of implementing new business development plans and developing top line sales on an annual basis.Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:· Familiarity with, or able to quickly learn, a multi-store operations segment.· Ability to develop, nurture, and maintain large account relationships requiring large account management and complex product management knowledge.· Exceptional communication skills and can tailor communications to a specific audience or call to action.· Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.· Strong business acumen skills with the ability to understand and communicate a ‘big picture’ view.· Engaging presentation skills and can effectively speak to and interact with various sizes/types of audiences in a professional and easy to understand manner.· Flexible and adaptable approach to work and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.Travel· Regular travel for this position is required and anticipated to be around 50% or less of work time.
