Job Summary Supports the delivery of quality software solutions for the Collision Team’s marketplace products through market research, product development and rollouts, and ongoing sustainment for assigned products. Partners closely with Engineering, Data, and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Manages business processes and assigned external relationships independently. Key Responsibilities Develops product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and works with Technology teams within an Agile/Scrum framework to prioritize and implement requirements, execute customer market testing (validation), perform user acceptance testing, and launch requirements.Puts together execution strategy/plan, and coordinates efforts with various functional areas (marketing, customer-facing, billing, etc.) to roll out new products or enhancements and drive customer satisfaction, escalating as needed.Helps develop and present business cases for new Collision product initiatives in order to secure project funding and/or proposal approval.Identifies areas for program improvement, and partners with sales, customer success, and marketing departments to devise programs to increase customer sales and decrease cancellations.Identifies reports for data gathering needed to support assigned areas and prepares reports and analyzes product and customer data.Identifies what market research is needed for assigned areas. Conducts market research including customer surveys, one-on-one customer interviews, and competitive analysis. Monitors customer feedback and provides consolidated tracking and reporting of market needs.Partners with Engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs and feasibility, and uses product analytics (e.g., usage, conversion, transaction, and GMV data) to inform roadmap decisions.Applies marketplace and ecommerce best practices — including catalog, pricing, search/discovery, and transaction workflow design — to improve the buying and fulfillment experience for dealers, suppliers, shops, and carriers.Collaborates with UX/design on wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing to ensure product changes meet user needs before development begins.Defines and tracks key product metrics (e.g., adoption, conversion, retention, transaction volume/GMV) to measure success against goals and inform prioritization.Develops and delivers presentations at speaking engagements to drive customer awareness of product capabilities and new customer initiatives.Develops and manages select relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), third parties, and other external industry professionals. Education A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in business, marketing or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree. Experience At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in a product role. Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with key customers and establish collaborative working relationships within and across internal teams on moderate to complex projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to apply principles of critical thinking to collect data, draw valid conclusions, consider options, recommend solutions, and solve problems.Strong business acumen with the ability to see a big picture view.Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.Comfort using product and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and data/analytics platforms to manage roadmaps and inform data-driven decisions.Basic technical fluency — including the ability to discuss APIs, system integrations, and data flows with Engineering — sufficient to evaluate technical tradeoffs and feasibility.Experience with, or strong interest in, ecommerce or marketplace products (e.g., catalog, pricing, transactions) preferred.Engaging presentation skills with the ability to effectively speak to and interact with various sizes/types of audiences in a professional and easy to understand manner.Organized, detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the automotive, collision repair, or B2B marketplace industry.Exposure to AI/ML-assisted product features or data-driven personalization. Travel Travel for this position is required and anticipated to be approximately 10-15% of the time (possibly 1 to 2 days each month).
