Office Ally™ is a True Health Information Network, connecting Patients, Providers and Payers for Electronic Data Interchange Medical Billing, Clearinghouse Services, and Electronic Medical Records to Include E-prescribing. We offer a complete suite of interactive ASP (internet based) solutions, allowing for patient care from the point of contact in the physician’s office to receiving payment from the insurance companies and providing overall care management from the IPAs and Health Plans. Our programs allow patients, providers, and IPAs/Health Plans to interact in real time, providing immediate communication between all parties. Our solutions include Patient (PHR) and Electronic (EHR) Health Records, Practice Management, and Clearinghouse.
Office Ally is currently searching for a passionate, collaborative, and detail-oriented Junior Payer Success Manager. This position is responsible for being the subject matter expert for Payer Clients and Partners on X12 EDI transactions. The Junior Payer Success Manager requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payers who have direct connections with Company so that Payers are following compliance and regulatory requirements for x12 transactions.
- Advise Payers on how the X12 transactions will be managed by Company’s workflow including both the Submitter and Receiver process.
- Manage the creation and execution of Statements of Work (SOW) for Payers that require the company to do custom work.
- Demonstrates the ability to read and understand all X12 healthcare documents including but not limited to Payer Companion Guides.
- Creates specific SOWs and Jira Tickets for Payers who require custom work to be done by company. Clearly writing these documents and requirements for the specific needs, based on the Payer’s request, and ensure that such requests will work through the company’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Demonstrates the ability to use good judgement and independent thinking when adding new payers or making route changes that consider the best decisions for the Company including technical capabilities, meeting CORE content requirements within the Company’s financial boundaries.
- Demonstrates the ability to use good judgment and independent thinking when managing escalated issues from customer support.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage Payer customer projects including, but not limited to, implementation, coordination and account management.
- Assists with X12 format testing and implementation.
- Assists with the testing of changes related to Clearinghouse updates.
- Assists with the creation and updates of Payer Enrollment Forms, User Manuals, and other user facing documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in healthcare administrative transactions or related industries
- High school diploma or GED
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required
- Knowledge of EDI standards, HIPPA regulations and data exchange processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data management and reporting
