Summary

This role involves managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and contributors, as well as manage relationships and logistics with external partners. Success in this position requires earning respect within the organization for effectively organizing tasks and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority. The Director of Project Management relies heavily on this role to address challenging customer issues that demand cross-functional collaboration for resolution.

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates expertise as a Project Manager and performs duties with accuracy and precision.
  • Defines and oversees projects that range from large to highly complex in scope.
  • Develops and maintains visual indicators and team/program metrics to show measurable progress toward KPIs and the delivery of planned work.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental communication to resolve any obstacles for project teams.
  • Facilitates agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, story refinement sessions, sprint planning, stakeholder demos, and retrospectives.
  • Tracks and manages both internal and external project dependencies.
  • Assists in testing processes and in release deployment activities.
  • Identifies and works to remove project impediments.
  • Creates and updates project outlines, timelines, and ensures effective communication across teams.
  • Schedules and facilitates meetings with IT, business, and vendor partners to keep projects on track with delivery timelines.
  • Manages the daily operational aspects and scope of multiple projects.
  • Resolves or escalates issues promptly.
  • Provides regular status updates based on project scope and stakeholder needs.
  • Monitors and tracks project metrics using the Scrum Board.
  • Maintains reliable, regular, and punctual attendance.
  • Works effectively in a collaborative team environment, promoting a spirit of cooperation.
  • Accepts and follows directions from the Chief Product Officer with professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 3+ years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Product Owner in HCIT following agile development methodologies.

Travel Requirement

This position may require occasional (up to 10% of the position) travel and may include overnights.
