Description

Summary

This position is responsible for supporting product optimization by assisting with strategies, prioritizing tasks, supporting the team in meeting KPIs, creating technical requirements, and executing improved workflows. These efforts aim to enhance customer metrics, increase conversions, and boost product revenue, satisfaction, and market share by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties

  1. Support the Product Owner by collaborating with agile teams, participating in ceremonies (standups, retrospectives, sprint demos), and managing backlog documents and Jira tasks.
  2. Assist with functional testing to ensure development meets acceptance criteria, and help prioritize stakeholder feedback while working with business process owners to track metrics.
  3. Engage with customers to gather requirements, address their feedback, and ensure their needs are reflected in the product development process.
  4. Create and manage documentation such as user interaction flow diagrams, Epics, and User Stories, and participate in backlog grooming meetings.
  5. Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and project management teams to resolve issues, adapt to a changing priority, and develop subject matter expertise.

Job Duties

  • Facilitate in organizing and coordinating all Jira-related Sprint, Backlog, and release needs.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
  • Provide support to backlog grooming meetings with development and answer questions development may have about the user requirements and needs.
  • Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and project management teams in solving issues with a project.
  • Assist with functional testing, including reviewing and accepting or declining output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
  • Actively connect with clients to build and sustain genuine, positive relationships, enhance the customer experience, and boost retention.
  • Monitoring performance and usage of features and provides insight for questions, concerns, and suggestions on assigned products.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and delivery teams, advocating for the customers' and stakeholders' viewpoints throughout the product development process.
  • Utilize team expertise to define a business problem statement and assess potential solutions.
  • Ability to draft and work together on detailed scope documentation.
  • Write Epics and User Stories as well as working with development to build out technical requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of the industry’s trends and current technical situation.
  • Cultivate subject matter expertise related to the assigned products.
  • Gain experience in identifying and solving healthcare provider challenges, while leveraging Office Ally's business expertise
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Good communication and critical thinking.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from the Senior Product Owner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working for as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Product Owner following agile development methodologies.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations

CSPO, Pragmatic Institute, or PMP certifications preferred.

Travel Requirement

This position requires minimal (up to 10% of the position) travel and may include overnights.
