Summary
This position is responsible for effectively gathering, interpreting, and managing requirements for assigned products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
- Serves as the product expert and voice of the customer to ensure that products, features, and services support the company’s overall strategy and delight the end user.
- Participates in the ideation process; generates and documents detailed requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product and process enhancements.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams and resources to drive the solution and implementation of multiple complex project/program initiatives on time, within budget, and within the defined scope.
Job Duties
- Serves as a representative of the business with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customers' and stakeholder perspectives throughout the product realization cycle.
- Actively supports product design work, soliciting customer and other stakeholder feedback on concepts and prototypes.
- Collaborates with product team to develop and provide detailed requirements and analysis on enhancements, maintenance, and other program-related changes.
- Assists with project-level plans related to schedule, scope, and resources.
- Assists with functional testing, including reviewing and accepting or declining output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
- Reviews and, when appropriate, accepts and prioritizes feedback and new requirements from stakeholders.
- Works with the business process owners to develop metrics to manage and track benefits, adoption, and risks to operations.
- Demonstrates the ability to use good judgment and independent thinking when documenting needs and changes for the software that consider the best decisions for the Company including technical capabilities, and meeting CORE content requirements within the Company’s financial boundaries.
- Drives ongoing improvements and efficiencies in product health, operational practices, tools, and processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 4 to 7 years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working for as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Product Owner.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Certificates: CSPO, Pragmatic Institute or PMP certifications preferred.
Travel Requirement
Frequency: Up to 5% (Infrequent)
