About this Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Learning and Development Facilitator to join our innovative Learning Experience team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality and impactful learning experiences that drive performance and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. The ideal candidate will excel in facilitating both in-person and virtual instructor-led sessions, ensuring a seamless and engaging learning journey for all participants. As a Learning and Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in implementing a variety of training programs that support organizational goals and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering content that is not only educational but also engaging and inspiring. You should be proficient in utilizing different delivery methods and platforms. Collaborating closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that learning experiences are tailored to meet diverse learner needs and help drive measurable outcomes. This role reports directly to the Director, Learning Experience and requires adherence to organizational standards and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all learning initiatives.
Job Duties
- Deliver Engaging Learning Sessions: Facilitate high-impact, advanced instructor-led learning sessions (both in-person and virtual) that are interactive, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives. Utilize a range of sophisticated instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles and needs. (e.g., Socratic Questioning, Blooms Taxonomy, Role-Playing and Simulations, and Experiential Learning)
- Support Learning Outcomes: Ensure every learning session is aligned with the team’s needs and operational goals. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver a training experience that enhances employee performance, improves day-to-day operations, and supports ongoing skill development.
- Enhance Learning Retention: Leverage advanced adult learning principles to drive knowledge retention and skill development. Incorporate real-world scenarios, role-playing exercises, and case studies to contextualize key concepts and ensure practical application. Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving by providing learners with hands-on opportunities to apply their skills in a controlled learning environment.
- Develop New Learning Programs: In collaboration with stakeholders, develop new learning programs and paths as needed for the business to encourage employee development and growth.
- Evaluate and Update Learning Programs: Regularly collect learner feedback and performance data to assess the effectiveness of training sessions. Use evaluation tools and feedback to make updates and improvements, ensuring content stays relevant and effective. Continuously refine training based on insights gathered to improve employee performance and meeting evolving needs. (Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation)
- Champion Learner Success: Provide personalized guidance and mentorship to empower learners throughout their learning journey. Actively address questions, concerns, and challenges with timely, thoughtful coaching, ensuring learners feel supported every step of the way. Offer continuous follow-up support and encouragement to promote the successful application of newly acquired skills. Champion the growth and development of each learner by recognizing achievements, fostering confidence, and creating a positive learning environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to excel.
- Ensure Consistent Standards: Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to maintain consistency in content presentation, adherence to brand guidelines, and up-to-date processes and procedures.
- Manage Learning Assets in LMS: Organize, upload, and manage content in the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless learner access and accurately track completion rates and performance metrics.

- Dynamic Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and impactful learning sessions both virtual and in-person environments, tailoring delivery to meet diverse learner needs.
- Learner-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of adult learning principles, with a demonstrated ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that fosters knowledge retention and skill application.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, facilitate meaningful discussions, and adapt messaging base on audience needs.
- Adaptability and Agility: Ability to adjust instructional techniques and course content in response to feedback and changing business needs. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and delivering results in a face-paced, evolving environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Expertise with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards.
- Collaborative and Agile: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on agility and adaptability.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required with at least 3-5 years of experience in learning delivery or facilitation, preferably in a corporate or customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences.
- Proficiency in utilizing virtual platforms like Teams for learning delivery and learner engagement.
- Experience in using LMS to manage learning logistics, track learner progress, and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Proven ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and encourage active participation and knowledge retention.
- Experience in facilitation in a corporate group setting is required.
