Function Summary

The Services Manager holds full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the Services department within the assigned territory, specifically covering project delivery and application consulting activities.

This role focuses on:

  • Driving team profitability and performance improvement

  • Collaborating closely with Sales to secure new business and validate technical solutions

  • Ensuring successful contract delivery (on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction)

  • Leading operational excellence and continuous process improvement

  • Building strong client relationships and developing high-performing teams

Additionally, the role supports Clinisys’ AI-first strategy by promoting the adoption of AI-enabled solutions, digital tools, and data-driven practices across service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Financial Management

  • Deliver contracts on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction, meeting all contractual obligations

  • Own P&L responsibility for project and consulting activities within the assigned territory

  • Manage financial, technical, and contractual risks

  • Track costs and enforce Travel & Expense policy compliance

  • Ensure delivery of forecasted and budgeted revenues

  • Provide monthly financial reporting for all ongoing projects

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project and revenue targets

Sales Support & Pre-Sales Activities

  • Support Sales in securing new business opportunities

  • Provide effort estimations and Statements of Work (SoWs)

  • Ensure technical validation of proposals in line with ISO procedures

Project & Operational Management

  • Plan and oversee development and implementation activities for successful deployments

  • Ensure adherence to approved project methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2)

  • Maintain accurate and timely project data in internal systems

  • Ensure proper documentation, including:

    • Signed intervention reports

    • Timely task recording by team members

  • Continuously improve processes, quality, and delivery efficiency

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams

  • Foster a strong team culture and collaboration

  • Recruit, evaluate, and manage staff (including exits when necessary)

  • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and ensure team-wide compliance

  • Ensure continuous skills development and training

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer management teams

  • Act as a representative of Clinisys leadership

  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and other teams to enhance solutions and delivery methods

AI & Digital Responsibilities

  • Promote adoption of AI-enabled tools, automation, and digital workflows

  • Identify opportunities to improve:

    • Efficiency

    • Delivery quality

    • Forecasting and planning

    • Customer outcomes

  • Enable data-driven decision-making through KPIs, dashboards, and analytics

  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams on AI-driven capabilities

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Security standards

    • Ethical AI use

    • Healthcare regulations

  • Monitor impact of AI solutions on performance and productivity

  • Act as a change leader, fostering an AI-first mindset and continuous learning culture

Knowledge & Skills

Core Expertise

  • Knowledge of LIS/LIMS (Laboratory Information Systems/Management Systems)

  • Experience in public health or healthcare environments

  • Experience delivering complex software implementation projects

  • Familiarity with project methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2)

Professional Skills

  • Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences)

  • Excellent leadership and motivational ability

  • Strong decision-making capability under pressure

  • High level of accountability and dedication

AI / Digital & Analytical Skills

  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and their applications

  • Experience with:

    • AI-enabled tools

    • Automation and intelligent workflows

    • Data analytics and dashboards

  • Strong ability to:

    • Interpret KPIs and performance metrics

    • Identify improvement opportunities using data

  • Understanding of AI integration into software solutions

  • Awareness of ethical, secure, and compliant AI usage, especially in healthcare

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Adaptability to evolving digital technologies

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in:

    • Public health (preferred)

    • Complex software project delivery

    • Healthcare IT, laboratory systems, or similar industries

  • Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven solutions is highly desirable

  • Participate in management and team meetings as required

  • Respond to reasonable requests from management and colleagues

  • Contribute actively to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Onboarding
As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
