What to expect:

• Review a wide variety of traditional models and AI/ML models
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the model development process adheres to the MRM framework
• Mentor and manage other validators
• Stay current with the ML/AI methodologies
• Build challenger models as part of the validation process
• Document the validation efforts to align with the Model Governance framework
• Establish standards and improve efficiencies in the validation process
• Challenge the model development team on their methodology/process
• Present the model validation findings to the MRM leadership team and the Senior Leadership team as needed
• Actively collaborate with the Governance team(s)

To be successful you need to have:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Engineering
• 5+ years of Model, Risk Management, Model Governance, Compliance or Related areas
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Experience in statistical modeling and validation
• Strong interest in learning Gen AI/LLM
• Proficient in using R, Python, SQL
• Proficiency in SAS a plus
