Our preference is for the job holder to be based in London so that they can follow our preferred hybrid working model of working remotely while also being able to work an average of three days per week from our office in central London.

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Data Product, Core Data to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, planning, and delivery of our data platform and analytics products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for our data platform and analytics products in alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of product managers and analysts to deliver high-quality data products that provide insights into business performance and customer behavior.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that data products are designed, developed, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to develop new data products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, and ensure that the team is focused on delivering the highest value features and functionality.
  • Define and track key performance metrics for data products, and use data-driven insights to continually improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance policies across the data platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products and analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing and leading a team of product managers and analysts.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data products that meet customer needs and drive business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets to draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus.
  • Agile development experience and Scrum certification is preferred.
  • Business School degree or MBA desirable
  • Big-four consulting experience preferred.
