What to expect:

  • Act as the product lead for the internal risk management portfolio (focus will be on but not limited to internal risk tools, risk engine, case management and work flow systems, and enterprise level risk solutions).
  • Define the current and future roadmap of solutions to be developed for the Risk group and actively be involved in conducting appropriate analysis of business needs, gathering operational requirements, and setting development priorities.
  • Keep abreast of new developments related to risk solutions to successfully identify new product development and/or enhancement opportunities that are aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop clear and compelling business cases for new products and features, and obtain senior management buy-in for proposed plans and budgets.
  • Define product vision, development strategy and key requirements of new products, and communicate specific needs to internal stakeholders involved in the development process.
  • Source 3rd party solutions and/or tools that can be leveraged for the Company’s consumer risk solutions.
  • Lead each phase of the entire product management life cycle and manage priorities for the internal development team. Work with key internal stakeholders throughout development process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development, marketing and integration of the risk solutions, tools and products.
  • Develop and implement business metrics and indicators to measure and report on the financial performance of the Company’s products and solutions.
  • Communicate proactively with senior management on the products, their performance and any major issues or changes in the market or competition.
  • Analyze and explore potential partnerships for Company products.
  • Interface with other product leads throughout the business to ensure alignment of processes and best practices.

To be successful you need to have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).
  • Exemptually Communication Skills including ability to negotiate, influence, build consensus, clearly articulate to technical and non-technical audiences, communicate difficult messages in a professional and productive manner, excellent presentation, and facilitation competency.
  • Problem-solving skills - evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans. Understanding of Data Analytics and reasons for the same. Detail orientated, high availability and metrics insight design principals. Ability to solve very complex related issues that may span technical, legal, compliance and regulatory obligations across various lines of business and shared service areas of the company.
  • 5 years’ experience in Product Management.
  • University degree in Product/Project Management, Software Engineering, Economics.
  • Skilled at working within a diverse company across multi time zones.
  • Understanding of payment flows credit card, alternate payments, bank transfers.
  • Understanding of different types of Merchants and Consumer Risk & Compliance.
  • Prior experience in banking and/or fintech industry will be considered as an advantage.
