This position forms part of the Financial Controlling Department and provides the business with crucial decision-relevant information. The main tasks include monthly reporting, target / actual variances, numerous calculations and planning activities.

What to Expect:

  • Working together with Group Reporting Expert to ensure timely submission of reporting entities’ financial statement to HFM for the consolidation process
  • Review and Supporting function in connection with key SOX controls within the accounting area and preparation of account reconciliations and control evidence
  • Liaison within the team and general accounting to ensure a timely and accurate close, and appropriate understanding and analyses of transactions
  • Develop a relationship within Accounting and group reporting functions
  • Supporting Accounting in analyzing and maintenance of interfaces and application processes
  • Involvement in Business / Product Initiatives and Projects

To be successful you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Some professional experience, preferably in an international company
  • Financial and accounting skills (IFRS / US GAAP), good knowledge of valuation methods and business models
  • General Interest in the work with databases, data flows and understanding of processes
  • Proficient MS Office user, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Interest and first experiences with BI tools (especially HFM / Smart View and SAP R/3)
  • Commercial interest in internet, e-commerce, online services & payment
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German would be considered as an advantage
  • Independent, flexible and pro-active working style
  • Analytical, precise, reliable personality with comprehension and implementation skills
  • High affinity for numbers, hands-on mentality, proactive attitude, open-mindedness
  • Responsible, taking full ownership for work
  • An international team player, conscientious, good listening skills in a wider matrix organization with different locations
