To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support our growth for our SMB market.

This role is based in Jacksonville, Florida and offers a hybrid work environment where you will have a blend of three in office working days and two remote working days during the work week.

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading a team of appointment setters who generate leads and set appointments for the outside sales team. This includes training and coaching staff, setting targets, monitoring performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring targets are successfully achieved. You will also collaborate with the sales team to align on strategies and improve conversion rates.

This individual must be able to coach, train and motivate appointment setters to be actively engaged with clients every day, build rapport with clients on every call, close the call and achieve setting the appointment.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of appointment setters to drive performance and meet individual and team objectives.
  • Review daily reports and provide written and verbal summaries when necessary to the leadership team.
  • Identify the needs of the team, identify the actions necessary to meet these needs and report findings monthly to senior management.
  • Set individual and team goals and coach Reps on achieving goals.
  • Hands on leader who can routinely motivate high performing sales teams and provide a process for them to share their best practices with other team members
  • Lead daily team huddles and regular one on one meetings with team members
  • Conduct regular sales meetings for coaching opportunities and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and development with the sales team

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills that allow for clear communication of issues and opportunities with the ability to effectively communicate with senior and executive management
  • Strong leadership skills:
    • Listening, the ability to hear the true intent of Sales Reps
    • Competence, the ability to say it, plan it and do it and show you lead by example
    • Positive Attitude, the ability to explain that all goals are achievable
    • Passion about helping every Sales Rep excel
  • Have a team-oriented mindset with a client centric focus

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales management or outbound call center management in a similar or related industry
  • Experience in payments within SMB is highly desired
  • Experience leading a sales process and high performing sales teams
  • Experience using a CRM to manage sales opportunities. Salesforce experience a plus
  • Ability to problem solve and liaise with colleagues to source solutions
  • Adaptable; able to quickly learn new technologies and processes
