We are looking for an Indirect Sourcing Manager to join our team. If you have at least a couple of years of experience in a Sourcing role working across categories such as HR, Facilities, Professional Services and/or marketing and you are looking to take a step up in your career in a fast-paced, growing organisation then this could be a great fit for you. We offer strong training and development and the opportunity to work in close partnership with the Head of Category and other experienced Sourcing Managers.

You will be responsible for planning and executing sourcing initiatives for key contract renewals and new business requirements as per the sourcing pipeline, supporting the Head of Category in running strategic activities in line with the category strategy for the indirect categories. Working with the senior team, the Indirect Sourcing Manager will prioritise and plan activity to best deliver long term sustainable benefits by executing all the key stages of the strategic sourcing process as relevant to procurement needs while supporting any operational and day to day management needs. You will manage your projects to agreed timelines and report on progress formally (through set tools and templates) and informally, during ad hoc meetings and team catch ups.

This role involves interacting and working closely with a number of senior stakeholders in a variety of business/service functions across the group to significantly contribute to measurable cost efficiencies in Indirect.

What to Expect:

  • Run strategic sourcing initiatives as per category strategy / sourcing pipeline including supplier engagement during RFI / RFP processes, supplier negotiations and collaboration initiatives. Negotiate contracts and commercial terms in the best interest of the business
  • Support the Head of Category in running strategic activities as per category strategy plans.
  • Own and manage stakeholder relationships across various divisions; pro-actively engaging them to define and document business requirements including spend and specifications to build
  • Help develop sourcing initiatives and a sourcing pipeline with the objective of driving out cost while maximising quality. The role holder must importantly secure buy-in and be able to communicate and ensure compliance of the Sourcing strategy across the group
  • Plan and execute the designed sourcing initiatives to deliver measurable and sustainable cost savings. Manage and execute all relevant steps of strategic sourcing process and produce all relevant and required documentation
  • Ensure compliance to Paysafe Financial, Infosec, Privacy, Sourcing, Vendor Management, Confidentiality and Risk management policies through Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P), and communication of these policies to suppliers and stakeholders
  • Manage the timely delivery of the procurement and sourcing initiatives and report accordingly
  • Perform spend and market analysis for specific category initiatives, working with the Procurement Operations team as necessary
  • Research and keep abreast with new trends and industry information relevant to business needs
  • Delivery of on-going and significant savings throughout the contract and relationship life cycle, underpinned by leadership of incremental cost, service and overall value derivation. Working closely with key suppliers to drive long term value improvements
  • Help to maximise the percentage of third party spend under the coverage of business Sourcing for areas in scope
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to assess the Sourcing function, processes and information/data, understand gaps to best practices and improve current Sourcing practices
  • Get the possibility to manage one of the categories which will include stakeholder management, category strategy development and implementation

To be successful you need to have:

  • Strong previous Indirect Sourcing experience (2+ years) as a Sourcing manager / category buyer
  • A Sourcing Manager who has had exposure and expertise in indirect categories such as HR, Facilities, Professional Services and/or Marketing
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
  • Ability to independently plan and execute Sourcing activities (in line with business needs)
  • Experience of managing own projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills: works well with all members of the hierarchy.
  • Ability to diplomatically challenge stakeholders and ensure alignment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: articulate, concise and accurate
  • Analytically strong: comfortable manipulating large volumes of data
  • Willingness to challenge current practice: seek alternative options and challenge convention
  • Self-starter – motivated and disciplined. Can manage their own time well
