About the Role:

The Operations Data Analyst is a key role in bridging the gap between data and operational decision-making within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytical tools, ability to generate valuable insights from operational data and translate those insights into actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all level of the organization, drive improvements in efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities:

Data Governance:

  • Understand operational data, data collection processes and dependencies with other departments, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Develop and implement data governance standarts for data acquiring, cleaning, and transforming operational data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through governance practices.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data and using visualization tools to present it, identify trends, patterns and generate insights
  • Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards for senior management to support decision-making
  • Supporting other functions with tools to monitor and report their KPIs

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Driving process improvements based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholder teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Track and measure the impact of implemented changes to ensure continuous improvement.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate complex data analysis and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, leadership) to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and operations management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an operations context.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SalesForce).
  • Proven ability to translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge in SQL for data querying and manipulation is a benefit.
  • Knowledge in Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data is a benefit.
