Paysafe is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory Project Manager. The role requires a person experienced in delivering Regulatory change projects in a Financial Services / Fintech environment.

This is great opportunity to join our expanding Delivery Team supporting implementation of our change agenda and response to regulatory, risk, and compliance demand. The criticality of these projects means we are looking for people with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and focus on taking a controlled and evidential approach to delivery. In addition, as a leading fintech business, experience working with Product / IT teams would be highly beneficial.

How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Accountable for successful delivery of Change Management Projects on time, with clear auditable and evidence-based delivery.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple streams of work in parallel, supporting coordination of multiple projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management, ability to work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business and Product teams to coordinate delivery and ensure prioritisation of regulatory needs.
  • Hands on Project Management, helping form initial set of requirements, suggesting approaches and proactively supporting our regulatory stakeholders in planning.
  • Drive Projects – secure buy-in, hold deadlines, and escalate early. Lead by example to deliver commitments on time.
  • Adhere to governance, support wider portfolio and help develop the delivery team.
  • Create detailed project plans - tasks, timelines, owners, status, criticality, interdependencies, and risks. Keep plans/documentation up to date in real time, in a standard format and central location.
  • Create clear project documentation, showing how requirements were assessed & actioned, with a clear audit trail, quality & thoroughness to share with regulatory authorities & Auditors.
  • Report accurately on the status of a project to different seniority of users
  • Work positively and collaboratively, taking an interest in understanding the subject matter to ensure that key project interdependencies are identified and reporting on issues is accurate.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • A background in either Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory Change Management with direct experience in Financial Services Domain
  • A strong work ethic and proven experience of driving successful time critical Regulatory Change Management Projects.
  • Willingness to be hands on working directly with stakeholders and eliciting requirements.
  • Experience of working in a Matrix organization working without direct control of resources and with global geographical spread.
  • Proven influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project management, primarily within Financial Services and working within Risk, Compliance or Regulatory related domain.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project & program planning, people, and team building skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, and operating under tight time constraints.

Desired skills/qualifications:

  • A compliance, risk, audit, legal and/or regulatory qualification
  • Knowledge of the Payments (cards and or stored value) industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE 2, or other Project Management qualification Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
