The Audit Director for Data Analytics (DA) contributes to the value of the Group Internal Audit function by providing thought leadership and specialist knowledge on how to leverage DA to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Audit team to achieve their objectives, mission and vision.

How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

Group Internal Audit Mission

To protect and grow Paysafe’s value by providing objective, risk-based assurance and insight to the business, enabling it to drive ongoing improvement in governance, risk management and controls.

Group Internal Audit Vision

Rapid and reliable insights and assurance.

  • Developing the strategy for applying data analytics within the Audit function.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to determine appropriate and effective ways to apply DA to deliver audit work.
  • Providing SME input to the broader team to ensure audits are delivered to high quality and meet expectations in terms of coverage and regulatory requirements.
  • Developing the broader team on DA tools and techniques to build in-house capability.
  • Take ownership for delivery of DA testing strategies across the team and consider optimal ways of presenting the results of testing performed.
  • Proactively identifying improvement opportunities related to the quality of internal audit deliverables (including reporting to governance committees and tracking internal MI).
  • Liaising with third party audit service providers and other internal/external partners of Internal Audit to ensure audit work is conducted effectively and efficiently.
  • Continuously improving audit documentation supporting regular/recurring internal audit engagements – take ownership for standard test plans and regularly review these to ensure they meet jurisdictional requirements for audit testing.
  • Participate in industry network groups and forums to ensure knowledge base remains relevant and up-to-date across all jurisdictions and product lines related to Paysafe.

What we’re looking for:

REQUIRED

  • Strong academic record, including bachelor or higher degree equivalent, preferably in an applied maths subject (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science etc)
  • 7+ years’ experience in a senior role in internal audit, working within a global financial services function delivering data analytics.

DESIRED

  • Big 4 background
  • Experience in a global payments institution
  • Knowledge of data analytics languages/ tools such as Python, SQL, Alteryx etc, including how to use in a complex environment.
