Paysafe is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Analyst to join the Information Security team.

You will monitor, identify and mitigate cyber threat across Paysafe. As a Security Analyst specialising in Penetration Testing and Red Teaming, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in applications, APIs, and corporate networks, as well as simulating sophisticated cyber-attacks to test our defences. As a successful candidate you will be part of the Cyber Defence Assurance team. You will be a key factor in countering threats to Paysafe, understanding our controls, and directing our security decision-making at a tactical, operational, and strategic level. You will be able to work in a global team environment (NA, EU, India), have prior experience of working in a web-based application services environment and be a fast learner with the ability to refine your skills and contribute towards enabling the Information Security team to deliver security automation.

What to expect:

  • Conduct penetration tests on applications, APIs, and network systems to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws.
  • Design and implement red team operations to simulate real-world adversaries, assessing the effectiveness of security controls and incident response protocols. Collaborate with the blue team to enhance detection and response capabilities, sharing insights from red team exercises.
  • Develop and execute test plans and scenarios for various types of cyber-attacks to assess the resilience of systems against intrusions.
  • Analyse and evaluate security measures for effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Utilize a variety of penetration testing tools and techniques to simulate real-world attacks.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities, the impact of potential breaches, and recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, attack techniques, and remediation methods.
  • Provide security training and guidance to other team members and departments.
  • Work closely with the incident response team to support security breach investigations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance checks against industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA, etc.
  • Support reporting for global InfoSec KPI/KRI on an ongoing basis.


To be successful you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security analysis or penetration testing.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption, and authentication methods.
  • Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nessus, Burp Suite, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of tasks and analysis.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and code review processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP MITRE ATT&CK) and how they can be applied effectively within an enterprise.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP or GIAC are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Offensive security knowledge and using attacker techniques to increase defences and knowledge of penetration testing tools, frameworks, and methodology.
