As part of the Digital Assets Team, the Relationship Manager will report directly to the VP FX/Trading and will be responsible for providing the highest-level of service and support to Paysafe FX/ Online Trading merchant accounts and for building solid, long-term relationships in order to continuously grow and optimize existing portfolios. The ideal candidate will proactively handle the needs of the assigned merchants and will be accountable for determining the best ways to effectively promote, sell and manage the account to consistently grow revenue.

How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Maintaining a solid understanding of Paysafe Group’s products, including but not limited to Acquiring, Digital Wallets and other payment processing solutions, systems, services and products.
  • Provide accounts with superior and professional service, support and follow-up for operational requests as well as for more complex projects and integrations, if required.
  • Displaying a strong understanding of each merchant’s business model in order to effectively promote and upsell Paysafe’s solutions, grow the existing portfolio and help merchants optimize their payment processing activities.
  • Engaging the Marketing and Product team to develop marketing support for merchants where the business case exists and where it will make Paysafe a better partner for our merchantsa
  • Reaching revenue targets within assigned accounts through effective leadership, consultative support, and relationship building in order to contribute to the attainment of the Company’s sales goals and to avoid account attrition.
  • Regularly monitoring processing activities of merchant accounts, communicate and interpret pertinent information, patterns and trends to clients.
  • Conducting regular account review meetings, ensuring merchant contact is maintained and all issues are identified, addressed and relationships built and strengthened
  • Conveying clear and accurate information at all times to merchants regarding industry rules and regulations, security and compliance matters, product information and project progress.
  • Collaborating with Product, Risk, Marketing and other internal departments in order to effectively respond to merchants’ inquiries and concerns, and to communicate feedback on customer and partner requirements, preferences and valued-added features
  • Providing consultancy-like advice about the payments market to clients
  • Creating accurate and timely market information on your selected market sector to help drive our future marketing and product strategies
  • Always fostering positive and harmonious inter-departmental relationships.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience within the online payments space
  • You have some prior experience in account management, relationship management, customer success, sales or business development, ideally, but not limited to the FX/ Online Trading and online payments space.
  • Highly customer focused with solid experience supporting large merchants and a proven track record in growing an existing business portfolio as well as achieving and exceeding established revenue targets
  • Commercially aware with the ability to think strategically and spot new opportunities
  • You can work independently, and possess strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • You are tech savvy, extremely customer service oriented, professional, resourceful, and have the patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer inquiries and negotiations.
  • You demonstrate excellent enthusiasm and a strong work ethic necessary to succeed in a dynamic, fast-moving and results oriented environment.
  • You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and preferably have past experience working with CRM systems and/or in-house software programs.
  • Experience drafting proposals and presenting in front clients will be considered important assets.
  • You must be available for travel to meet and network with clients in person.
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English. Additional languages skills are a strong plus
