We are currently looking for a Billing analyst based in Sofia who will assist the line manager and team in the delivery of high-quality billing and invoicing needs. We are looking for a proactive individual who is quality-driven in their approach, has strong problem-solving, time management, and critical thinking skills.

The Billing Analyst will be responsible for supporting the line manager and team in the areas of billing, invoicing and process improvement. This position works in close partnership with the Operations team, Accounting, Reconciliations, Account Management and Sales teams to ensure that all financial reporting activities are carried out in a timely, accurate and compliant manner. The ideal candidate combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of the billing and accounts receivable processes.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and process monthly manual billing for our Payment Processing business line in North America, including ACH billing
  • Assist line manager in detecting and identifying control gaps in the Billing/invoicing processes
  • Preparation and analysis of aged receivable reports monthly
  • Assist with the reconciliation and billing of monetary adjustments accounts for US Acquiring
  • Communicate with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications, as needed, on a timely basis
  • Help drive continuous improvement to procedures and internal controls
  • Performs all ad hoc tasks on request to support line manager and Financial Operations wider team

To be successful you need to have:

  • Degree level education
  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience (last year in a similar role)
  • Ability to handle multiple activities successfully while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail with sound analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent system investigative skills
  • Excellent Excel skills, MS office
  • Be an excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships, working cross-function and with teams across the globe
