We are currently looking to hire a Senior Director of Product, Merchant Experience in our team in London. The Senior Director of Product will play a key role in ensuring our merchant experience products which include onboarding, developer experiences and portals are competitive and aligned with Paysafe’s strategy and needs. This individual will report to the SVP Product, Merchant Solutions and be responsible for the delivery of merchant experience enhancements within Paysafe for our merchant business.

How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Lead the Product team that is responsible for merchant experience within the Paysafe Group.
  • Build a product strategy/vision for merchant experience that aligns to the overall company strategy.
  • Work alongside other product leads and own the development roadmap and prioritisation.
  • Foster collaborative and supportive relationships with all stakeholders, communicate clearly and in alignment with the overall Group Product roadmap. Merchant experience is at the core of Paysafe Group’s offering and as such is always in focus. The ability to empathize with the needs of different Business Units and their sub-divisions is critical.
  • Data-driven decision making and planning: define KPIs for measuring success and validate all assumptions post execution.
  • Follow product development and management methodology that is consistent with the accepted norms for the group as a whole.
  • Lead product managers, product owners and UX designers who will be responsible for executing the merchant experience strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10 years' experience in a Product Management related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in a product leadership role.
  • Education in BA related field - Business, Finance, Economics, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • UX experience either as a designer or team leader.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of merchant onboarding, portals and UX design.
  • Prior work experience in PSPs & Acquirers.
  • Experience of creating a product vision and strategy.
  • Prior experience working in a global company and driving transformation via a global roadmap.
  • Understanding of scaled agile and the SAFe framework.
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural, and global company is an added advantage
  • You’re comfortable communicating with senior business stakeholders, engineering, Design/UX and Analytics teams – verbal and written communication skills and capacity for articulation.
  • Decent technical knowledge and skill to speak authoritatively on the technical aspects of payment method integrations
  • Excellent English skills
