Overview
The Senior Product Manager, Acquiring, plays a key role within the Product team. You'll work within our organisation, helping to manage, change and plan in line with Paysafe objectives, vision, and goals. As a professional in the online payments space, you will bring deep level of understand the current organisation, identifying future needs and creating solutions to help meet those needs that best fit our existing architecture, ecosystem, and appetite.
You will help drive new potential areas for growth through fact led steadfast research, analytics, and problem-solving skills.
Being charismatic, enthusiastic, and empathetic, you demonstrate an aptitude for internal and external collaboration with our customers, merchants, business partners and internal departments alike to identify mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
Your ability to clearly articulate complicated technical specifications, workflows and processes through clear and concise documentation will be crucial to your success in the role, tapping into your immaculate project management / agile and organisational expertise.
This role is based in London, following our hybrid working model of working remotely while also being able to work an average of three days per week from our office in central London.
Responsibilities
- Support the product function by highlighting key areas for product investment through research, market analysis, competitor analysis, preparing business cases, and product propositions to define and cascade the value and benefits
- Work with customers and other stakeholders to gather, understand and clearly document their business problems, requirements, and scope the opportunities, outline potential value, ROI, and identify risks and constraints
- Clearly define potential revenue uplift with fact based, data led proposals
- Regularly review products and solutions during development and at completion to ensure they meet the acceptance criteria and within the agreed timescales.
- Support efficient change by providing impactful analysis on cross domain, end-to-end, complex environments and cascade the value and benefits
- Establish and maintains strong (sustainable) relationships with key stakeholders, focused on a clear understanding of their challenges and opportunities.
- Stay abreast of relevant markets, technologies, legislation, and general trends and share discoveries with the wider product team
- Evaluate and recommend systems and process enhancements to improve productivity
- Work on front to back initiatives to make end to end processes more effective focusing on the value flow for the customer
- Track all dependencies and influence various stakeholders to achieve product delivery and launch objectives.
- Liaise with the Technical Author to ensure that product documentation clearly conveys the functionality
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management related field
- Education in BA related field - Business, Finance, Economics, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of all aspects of card acquiring: Scheme rules and pricing, risk considerations of various verticals, real-time transaction processing as well as clearing and transaction lifecycle.
- Understanding of the technical aspects of online payments, card processing and acquiring, and alternative payment options
- Prior work experience implementing PSPs & Acquirers
- Prior experience working in a global company and driving transformation via a global roadmap
- Experience working in a diverse, multicultural, and global company is an added advantage
- You’re comfortable communicating with business stakeholders, Engineering, Design/UX and Analytics teams – verbal and written communication skills and capacity for articulation.
