Paysafe is looking for an Implementation Manager to work in an established Prepaid & Issuing Team that supports Paysafe internal program and external client implementation needs. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering projects in Fintech and/or payments industry and supporting card scheme (Visa & Mastercard) project delivery for new card program onboarding and product feature enhancements for existing Digital wallet prepaid cards. The role will require effective project, stakeholder (internal, external) and process management in line with the scheme, regulatory and internal requirements.

What you will do:

  • Act as a point of contact for Issuing and Prepaid stakeholders for complete delivery and sign off for projects related to scheme mandate compliance, implementing new products with the scheme and product & process enhancements.
  • Initiate, engage, and oversee delivery by taking a lead position for any effort size project for internal and external Card Programs that involve card schemes and third party vendors (processor, manufacturer, X-Pays and others);
  • Provide card scheme related rule and technical assistance during and after project delivery for internal/external card program managers and their providers (i.e., manufacturer, processor),
  • Support with initiation & involvement, requirements gathering and sign off from appropriate internal stakeholders during and after project milestones or any operational requests after project is delivered,
  • Provide support for account management and operations with any day-to-day tasks for timely support for existing and future Issuing clients,
  • Strategic thinker that comes up with any time and cost-effective measures (if applicable) to the projects/process improvements during the lifecycle of project delivery,
  • Effectively track changes via a formal change request process.
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects as directed by the line manager and/or Senior Management.
  • Implementing and communicating regulatory or scheme mandates.


To be successful you need to have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in Implementation Projects, from a Fintech or Payment Industry standpoint,
  • Able to identify and implement projects required by scheme mandates or required for improving internal and external card program features,
  • High level of skill with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Word,
  • Able to effectively manage stakeholder expectations within timelines and scope of the project, with strong interpersonal skills for linking internal and external (client, provider) parties.
  • Excellent written communication skills and clear & positive verbal skills,
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills, as representation of company while dealing with external clients and providers (scheme, processor, manufacturer program managers),
  • Eagerness to learn card payments ecosystem and able to demonstrate learnings to the projects/operational task undertaken to the desirable standards,
  • Knowledge of Card Scheme Implementation projects and tools (MC Connect, Visa Online) would be a great asset.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural company with multiple offices in different time zones would be a plus.
