Paysafe is looking for a Director of New Business Development with a primary focus on agent sales to join our team to drive growth within our SMB vertical.

Position Summary:

A Director of New Business Development (BD) solicits, acquires, and initiates the implementation of Unregistered Independent Agents. The BD is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and recruitment objectives. The new partners will acquire merchant account opportunities within said guidelines of the acquiring bank relationships. The BD represents the entire range of company products and services to their new agent though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a vertical market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source new Agent opportunities
  • Meets/Exceeds assigned targets for profitable net revenue and strategic objectives in new Agent
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned Agent accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including onboarding, support, service, and management resources, to meet Agent on-boarding objectives and agent’ expectations
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates Agent needs and ensures we can execute on such needs
  • Drives adoption of company programs and products among new Agent.
  • Proactively leads an Agent planning process to maximize revenue for both parties in new relationship
  • Creates and maintains their own Salesforce lead database in a timely manner with reporting capabilities
  • May be called upon to assist agent Support and other internal stakeholders throughout the lifetime of the relationship to ensure a solid relationship is maintained

Key Competencies:

  • Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Interfaces with customer's executives and product administrators
  • Represents our company at Industry functions through trade show activity, trade groups, and public speaking with corporate approval
  • Flexibility for up to 30% travel
  • Ability to maneuver internally to ensure a smooth client experience while maximizing revenue
  • Ability to coordinate complex Legal agreements with partner and Legal team internally
  • Ability to create revenue models for new partnership and coordinate with Finance for appropriate approvals

Experience and Education:

5+ years of integrated industry sales experience

College Degree preferred but we will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree
