The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role within the Finance Systems - IT department at Paysafe. This role is responsible for identifying business requirements and contributing to the design, optimization, and enhancement of system features that deliver value to finance users. As a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will offer expertise and support to development, finance, and audit teams. Strong system knowledge and analytical skills will be essential in driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance within the financial systems landscape.

What to expect:

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation Support
    • Participate in all phases of the end-to-end implementation, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment.
    • Conduct business process analysis, gather system requirements, and perform gap assessments to align solutions with business needs.

    • Prepare technical specification design documentation for custom-developed features, integrations, reports, and enhancements.

    • Identify and implement improvements to existing finance business processes and assist in the integration of newly acquired or merged entities.

    • Analyze, develop and maintain business reports and dashboards, ensuring effective data visualization and actionable insights.

    • Provide training and create user guides to support system adoption and change management.

  • Ongoing Support of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Finance Systems

    • Ensure functional and technical compliance with internal controls, security, audit, and tax requirements.

    • Troubleshoot system issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions or workarounds, either independently or with vendor support.

    • Deliver innovative solutions to address functional gaps and resolve Oracle bugs and issues.

    • Deliver training to key and end-users and maintain relevant system documentation and user guides.

  • Cross-Functional Integration Projects
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DEV, DBA, SA, ITI, Oracle Support) to deliver seamless system integrations.

    • Provide system expertise in finance-led projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical architecture.

    • Support the analysis, planning, and execution of integrations, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Business Systems Analysis
    • Conduct business systems analysis for enhancement requests and process improvements across various finance platforms.

    • Gather and document system requirements for features, functionality, and integrations related to Oracle Fusion, OneStream, AutoRek, TMS, and other finance systems.

    • Develop and maintain documentation including application functional designs, requirements specifications, process workflows, test plans, UAT scenarios, and data migration strategies.

    • Work with internal teams to ensure the alignment of system capabilities with business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement.

    • Support the QA team in testing by providing clear documentation and helping to execute test scenarios for various finance systems.

To be successful you need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in finance systems analysis and implementation.

  • Extensive expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, particularly within Financials Applications.

  • Proven experience in full life-cycle implementations of finance systems in a global corporate environment, including integration with core systems.

  • Strong proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply them to diverse projects.

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting, with preferred domain-specific knowledge in IT industry applications.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.

  • SQL knowledge is an advantage for data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across multiple teams and organizational levels.

  • Deep understanding of major finance, accounting, and compliance standards.

  • Strong understanding of information technologies and system architectures, particularly in finance systems.

  • Ability to think creatively and inventively drive solution-oriented results.

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
