As a Group Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will help the organisation to mitigate risks arising from processes, people and systems and make a significant business impact by performing risk assessments for various business units within Paysafe Group. The analyst will be working with and learning from Senior members of the Group ERM team in driving the global enterprise risk agenda.
The ideal candidate will be solutions driven and have strong time management and communication skills to engage with various global stakeholders within the Paysafe Group.
This role will be based out of our office in Sofia.
What you’ll do:
- Supporting business owners with the implementation of regulatory changes related to Paysafe’s business and processes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Aligning with Regulatory Counsel with regard to understanding and advising on the implementations of regulatory obligations (stemming from new or updated laws, regulations, guidelines) in the countries where Paysafe operates, and which will impact its business
- As part of the regulatory implementation tasks and projects, identifies and engages, directly or via a project manager, with internal stakeholders to advise them on addressing and fulfilling effective implementation of regulatory requirements arising from new applicable to Paysafe regulations or changes in such regulations
- Works closely with the Business, Product, Risk, Operations and other teams, as the case may be, to fully understand the various business models, platforms, and products in order to be able to advise on the effective implementations of regulatory requirements
- Close work and coordination with Business, Product, Risk, Operations, Compliance and other teams, as the case may be, to advise on the building of action plans for the effective implementation of relevant regulatory changes
- Preparation and updating of gap analysis and other documentation relating to the implementation of regulatory changes
- Tracking of and reporting on progress by business owners on the implementation of regulatory changes and the preparation of related project documentation including identifying and escalating risks, issues and dependencies that would negatively impact timely and complete implementation of the regulatory change
- Support on the preparation of position papers, consultations and lobbying relating to proposed regulatory changes
- Support on the development of communications and resources relating to regulatory changes for use by Paysafe colleagues
- Support on the preparation of internal and external reports relating to regulatory changes and their implementation by Paysafe
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of experience of regulation within Financial Services/Fintech or Banking institutions
- Experience in project management is welcomed
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication, oral and written skills – including ability to summarize matters concisely both verbally, in written form and in presentations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as required
- Able to prioritize competing demands/workload
- Proven flexibility and adaptability
- Good computer skills (ability to work with Excel, Word, Power Point)
