We are currently seeking a Product Owner - FX Banking to join our team in delivering excellent banking and payment solutions. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in delivering banking integrations, payment processing enhancements, and local payment method (LPM) on the Paysafe Unified Commerce platform. You will support the product roadmap and execute the delivery of banking-related capabilities, ensuring seamless money movement, regulatory compliance, and exceptional user experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced fintech environment, collaborating with banks, payment networks, engineering teams, risk, compliance, and commercial stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge financial solutions.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize the backlog in alignment with the product roadmap.
- Lead sprint planning and backlog grooming with the Scrum team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria to define product features and functionality.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain daily communication with engineering to support development progress and unblock issues.
- Evaluate and prioritize new feature requests while minimizing disruption to existing plans.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and ops to develop scalable banking integrations and payment solutions.
- Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and system performance metrics to ensure reliable transaction processing.
- Ensure compliance and security by partnering with risk, regulatory, and compliance teams.
- Support product launches and post-release activities, while collaborating with sales and data teams to drive adoption and optimize performance.
To be successful you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in banking systems, banking operations, or payment processing
- Proven experience working with engineering teams in an agile, high-growth, and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Passion about product innovation, user experience, and market trends in fintech.
