This new role is being created within the Product organization to enhance the interlock between the Product Pillars and the Risk, Compliance and Regulatory functions. The role will report to the VP Product Risk & Scheme Compliance and will work in close conjunction with the Product organization on the one hand, and the Risk organization on the other. Success will be measured in reduced blockers/challenges to getting new products live and faster review and approval times. Work independently with Executives, SVPs, and VPs both within the Product side and within the Risk organization. Proactively identify and resolve problems with little oversight from the VP, who will cover 5 distinct roles beyond this one.

What will you do:

  • Design and embed new ways of working within the Product organization, driving for better awareness and ownership of risk exposure, assessment and mitigation
  • Review full 2025 Product roadmaps and quarterly PI plans, providing feedback to the Pillars on where stumbling blocks may be and providing visibility to Risk on what is coming down the pipeline
  • Participate in Product Pillar meetings and Steering Committees to supply updates and insights on Product-Risk interlock
  • Regularly liaise with senior leaders, including VPs, SVPs, and executive team members, to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and drive organizational impact.
  • Lead the evaluation and prioritization of high-value, multi-million dollar initiatives, making data-informed and sometimes difficult decisions to advance the most impactful efforts, while transparently deprioritizing others when necessary.
  • Run regular meetings and provide regular reporting on the state of the Product-Risk interlock
  • Create relevant MI to measure performance and speed of approval processes

To be successful you need to have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services, of which at least 5 years in FinTech
  • Experience working in commercial-oriented roles OR in control-oriented roles but with a proven commercial mindset. Experience in both will be an advantage
  • Proven ability to operate in high-complexity environments across a high volume of different projects and priorities
  • Top-notch stakeholder management and communication skills need to be able to build bridges between differently focused individuals/teams and find common ground
  • Will need to do so with a great deal of independence as the role’s manager will have 5 other teams/responsibilities to handle beyond this one.
  • Must have a deep understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory processes
  • Must have a good understanding of product development and commercialization
  • Flexibility on work schedule to work with stakeholders in different time zones

We offer in return:

  • The opportunity to write the history of a leading and growing multinational company
  • Tailor-made training and ongoing development to help you enhance your skills in the field of online payments
  • Multiple career progression opportunities in a dynamic in-house business
  • Environment where product expertise, professional and personal commitment are rewarded
