Job Summary:
The Lead for Strategic TechOps Initiatives serves as a key partner to the SVP, Infrastructure & TechOps, driving strategic alignment, operational clarity, and cultural cohesion across the TechOps function. This role is responsible for leading high-impact initiatives such as Resiliency, Site Reliability, Infosec Compliance and Third-Party Relationship Management. The position emphasizes strategic planning, operational oversight, recruitment support, and stakeholder engagement to translate the TechOps vision into measurable outcomes within the Infrastructure, TechOps, and IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Bridge strategy and delivery by connecting TechOps priorities to execution across teams and initiatives.
  • Lead special projects, ensuring timely delivery and strategic impact tied to Resiliency, Site Reliability.
  • Bridge communication gaps with Customer Success, Vendor Relationship Management, Third-Party Technology Integrators.

TechOps Performance Tracking & Operational Oversight

  • Consolidate monthly updates (Progress, Plans, Problems) to surface blockers and highlight momentum.
  • Track strategic KPIs for TechOps Initiatives - Service. Ensure timely reports and presentations.
  • Support operational decision-making by streamlining reporting and performance review processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between the SVP, TechOps and other departments to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships across the organization to support cross-functional collaboration.

Team Growth & Organizational Development

  • Assist with recruitment tracking and headcount planning across TechOps.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to team structure to align with evolving strategic priorities.

Culture & Communication

  • Coordinate team-wide forums such as quarterly All Hands and bi-weekly showcase sessions.
  • Share regular communications celebrating team wins, and major updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in strategic delivery, Technical Program management, or operations, ideally within Technology or IT functions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Understanding of Resiliency, Availability, Site Reliability, Disaster Recovery, ITSM, SDLC, Quality Gates, PCI/SOX, Cloud Technologies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting and generating presentation content.
  • Curious about new challenges; learn collaborative and productivity tools, use of Gen AI.
