What to expect:

Business Unit Finance Management:

  • Prepare forecasts / budget / ad hoc financial analysis and reports for the Business Units.
  • Control / analyse / report P&L Actuals: undertake monthly reviews against Budget and Forecasts with the teams supported.
  • On a monthly basis, prepare and present balanced scorecards to Management. This includes KPIs and P&L with commentary and action plans.
  • Generally, act as a key Business partner for Commercial teams, ensuring financial awareness and driving profitability.

Financial Analysis:

  • As a Finance Business Partner to the Commercial teams, prepare variance analysis and commentary for the group.
  • In the context of specific analysis development, analyse and interrogate the transactional database and data warehouse to identify and communicate appropriate trends effectively to the business.
  • Liaise with the data warehouse project team to deliver automated periodic value-added information, to deliver timely customer-focused information on a weekly, periodic and ad hoc basis.
  • Develop KPIs, systems and analysis tools as required by the business.
  • Ad hoc support to the Commercial Finance team as required.

To be successful you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in FP&A, management accounting, a similar financial business partnering role, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reporting. Experience supporting Commercial teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide clear financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across functions, adapt communication style to different audiences, and translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Capability to understand end-to-end business processes and contribute to financial planning, KPI development, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with exposure to BI tools and financial systems.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
