The Product Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a collection of programs and projects that collectively represent a major strategic investment area or organizational pillar. This role ensures portfolio activities are prioritized, funded, and executed in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Portfolio Manager serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing transparency into delivery performance, resource utilization, and value realization across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Portfolio Planning: Partner with senior leaders to understand the investment priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic roadmaps.
- Performance and Value Management: Monitor portfolio delivery performance, measuring progress against key performance indicators, value realization targets, and strategic goals.
- Resource and Financial Governance: Track the allocation of resources and budget across programs and projects, identifying opportunities and surfacing risks to leadership for decision-making.
- Risk and Compliance Oversight: Establish governance standards for portfolio-level risk management and ensure adherence to enterprise risk tolerance and compliance expectations.
- Stakeholder Reporting and Communication: Deliver executive facing portfolio updates and insights, enabling data-driven decisions on prioritization, funding, and capacity.
- Continuous Improvement and Delivery Maturity: Define and implement consistent portfolio delivery standards, metrics, and dashboards that promote predictability and alignment across the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners closely with Product Leads, Technology Leads, and other cross functional teams to ensure that investments are executing effectively to achieve the highest return on value.

- Proven ability to shape delivery strategies and influence decisions at the senior leadership level.
- Skilled in influencing and fostering data-driven, value-focused discussions.
- Promotes a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Serves as a mentor and thought leader within the Delivery function, advancing portfolio maturity and discipline.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- 10+ years of experience in program or portfolio management or related experience across diverse business domains, required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic portfolios encompassing multiple high-impact programs.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- PMP, PfMP, or equivalent professional qualification, highly preferred. If certifications are not currently held, they must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or other technology-driven financial services, ideally with exposure to global payment methods and compliance frameworks, is strongly preferred.
