Compensation

  • base salary + variable $103K – $154.4K • 25% variable compensation

Job Summary

The Solutions Consultant will work primarily with our prospective customers to provide technical support and solutions to the Revenue team prior to the sale. You will be a trusted advisor and problem solver, helping the prospective customer decide if one of our products is the right solution for their business.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with our Revenue teams to evaluate opportunities.

  • Deliver compelling demonstrations of the Payscale product suite to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems and may present and demonstrate virtually and/or at customer site.

  • Analyze customer needs and requirements and illustrate how Payscale solutions can provide value and support to their organization.

  • Answer questions on product functionality, integration, and usage, and solve pre-sales support problems.

  • Provide technical consultation, demonstrations, general support and knowledge transfer to Revenue staff, enablement, and product development.

  • Provide feedback to product development teams and other groups as needed.

  • Work in partnership with Revenue team to strategize sales approaches and ensure attainment of sales quotas.

  • Occasional trade show or conference representation and demonstrations.

  • Help to complete RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and Security documents during the sales process.

  • Assist in training new and existing Solutions Consultants and other Revenue resources.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Compensation Management a plus

  • Minimum 3 years in pre-sales or customer facing roles

  • Experience responding to RFPs

  • Analytical thinker and attention to detail

  • Ability to review status quo and find opportunities for improvement

  • Able to embrace change and have desire to make a difference

  • Strong presentation and speaking skills

  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

When it matters (usually no more than a few times a year) we take the time to gather for in-person events.
