Compensation

  • Base Salary RON 14K – RON 14.5K per month • 10% Annual Bonus

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for all positions, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Depending on the position, there is eligibility for an annual corporate bonus percentage. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous total rewards package.

Job Summary

Payscale is looking for an Information Security Analyst I to join our Information Security Team. You will play a key role in Information Security working with IT, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Development Teams. The right individual for this role should have some experience with Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring, Cloud Platform Security, and Incident Response. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with different teams for security processes.

  • Assist with vulnerability scanning and security monitoring of cloud platforms.

  • Help identifying vendor vulnerabilities from scans.

  • Support monitoring and investigating security incidents using the SIEM platform.

  • Help with monitoring antivirus and endpoint detection and response systems.

  • Assist in Microsoft O365 security alerts and events.

  • Review and assist with Crowdstrike alerts and security findings.

  • Monitor and respond to incoming security incidents and violations.

  • Raise concerns about alerts to level II and Senior analysts

  • Assist in preparing incident reports and root cause analyses processes.

  • Assist with SOC2 and internal audits.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.

  • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a SAAS based company.

  • Prior experience in IT, system administration, or system engineering is a plus.

  • Ability to work with various cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with network/system vulnerability scanning tools is advantageous.

  • Basic understanding of security standards and frameworks like CVE, CVSS, CWE, STIX, TAXII, and MITRE ATT&CK.

  • Basic knowledge of threat intelligence and or DLP tools.

  • Some Familiarity with one or more cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft O365 security is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of Crowdstrike or other EDR products a plus.

  • Basic understanding of incident response procedures and security event analysis.
