The opportunity

We’re looking for a delivery-focused Product Manager to sit within the Product team but be 100% dedicated to Pet Circle’s New Ventures portfolio. The goals and key work pieces are already defined - what we need is someone who can drive the “how”: shaping requirements, coordinating partners, unblocking teams, and ensuring smooth delivery across Technology and external agencies.

This role becomes the key point of coordination between our Ventures team, Engineering, Design, and agency partners, freeing up our VP Engineering from being the default escalation or detail owner. We know what we need to do - we need to make it deliverable

You’ll be turning our existing roadmap into executable product requirements, processes, timelines, and structured workflows. We foresee this being a 3 month contract (with the possibility to extend).

What you’ll do

• Translate business-defined work into actionable product requirements, user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Shape the delivery approach - workflows, dependencies, sequencing, and coordination between Tech and external agencies.
• Own requirements clarity for Engineering, Design, Data, and vendors.
• Manage scope and alignment: ensure everyone is working off the same understanding.
• Coordinate day-to-day delivery, ensuring progress, resolving ambiguity, and removing blockers.
• Run stand-ups/rituals for the venture streams as needed.
• Liaise with external agencies, reviewing deliverables, answering questions, and escalating decisions quickly.
• Act as the single source of truth for venture-related product execution.

Role location

We believe that building connections and collaborating as Pet Circlers is super important. So this role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement of 2-3 days per week in our pet friendly offices (your pet might love coming to the office even more than you). This is subject to change in line with business requirements.
