The opportunity

*Please note that this is a part-time role - 2 days/week - Monday + Tues/Wed/Thurs*

Our partner pharmacy is looking for an early-career pharmacist who’s passionate about both health and pets. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring medications are dispensed safely and accurately, while also delivering outstanding advice and support to pet parents.

What you’ll be doing

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and in line with pharmacy and regulatory standards.

• Deliver empathy-driven support to pet parents across phone, chat, SMS, and email, supporting them with medication or order queries.

• Resolve issues related to prescription issues, damaged goods, order discrepancies or delivery delays, among others.

• Build positive relationships with vet clinics and pet parents, assisting with prescription follow-ups and troubleshooting order hurdles to maintain seamless service delivery.

• Ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently for our e-commerce partner channels.

• Maintaining meticulous records and workflows to meet compliance and quality standards.

• Supporting smooth daily operations by keeping processes organised, accurate, and efficient.

• Wear many hats and be ready to support different areas of the pharmacy when needed. Including coordinating with delivery partners, managing wholesalers, and order fulfilment, among others.

The ideal toolbox

• Unrestricted AHPRA Registered General Pharmacist

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality care.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable using dispensing software, e-commerce systems, and digital tools is a plus (but not essential)

• Excellent customer service and communication skills – you enjoy helping and reassuring pet parents.

• Organised, reliable, and committed to operational excellence.

• Previous experience in community pharmacy.

Role location

• Part-time role: 2 days/week - Monday + one additional day (Tues/Wed/Thurs)

• Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (no weekends)

• Location: Onsite only, Pemulwuy, NSW.
