Job Summary

The .Net Web Developer is responsible for supporting and maintaining our enterprise applications and any other applications built for our customers. They work on supporting existing functionality, implementing new features, and developing our products to enhance the user experience. This position offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience with rapidly-evolving technologies in a constantly-growing industry. Developers will have the opportunity for growth within the team and will report to the Development Manager with support from Senior Developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of new product features
• Debugging and resolving defects and investigating customer support issues
• Diagnosis and rectification of system failures
• Integration with existing software systems
• Reporting to the Development Manager on trends and issues, escalating problems with both customers and staff members as required
• Working directly with customers and other Prometheus Group teams to refine requirements
• Recording features and issues in an online team-managed issue tracking tool
• Adherence to Quality testing processes
• Travel to customer sites to assist in requirements gathering or implementations when

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required
• 2-4 years in enterprise or web application development
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming
• Development experience with the following languages: ASP.NET (VB or C#), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React
• Knowledge of UX & UI design patterns
• Databases (SQL) and SOA (REST/SOAP)
• Knowledge of Visual Studio
• Strong understanding of source control systems (specifically GIT)
