Job Summary

The Data Analyst will primarily be using custom data visualization tools and SQL based data warehouses to fulfill their duties. This is a backend and customer facing role responsible for understanding customers’ key performance indicators and developing metrics tailored to their business needs. You will be responsible for gaining a detailed understanding of complex datasets in order to aid in the visualization and analysis of many different business requirements across many industries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from industry-specific maintenance processes to provide concise reports and visualizations.
• Coordinate with clients to identify specific reports needed to be displayed from datasets.
• Work with developers to help drive new features and optimizations in the Analytics solution.
• Debug and identify technical issues as they arise.
• Assist in implementation of Analytics solution.
• Aid in setting up routine and custom ETLs as need arises.
• Provide clients with continuous support of Analytics solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Required.
• Available to work in our Midtown Raleigh, NC headquarters.
• Work experience with relational databases, SQL.
• Both excellent communication skills and analytical thinking/problem solving
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Time management skills and handling fast-paced work environment

Preferable Skills and Experience

• PostgreSQL experience
• Python experience
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with industry-specific standard metrics
