Job Summary
Prometheus Group is seeking an experienced RevOps leader in B2B SaaS to lead our sales operations strategy leveraging prior success in building go-to-market operations toward achieving revenue goals.
Reporting to the CRO, the Director of Revenue Operations will be responsible for managing the strategy, processes, administration, and technology for enabling the sales team to perform at maximum effectiveness. The leader will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams to drive revenue growth, streamline processes, and ensure alignment across departments, designing the systems to optimize growth.
This critical leadership role will provide experience, expertise, and thought leadership to execute account assignment and management, sales territory management, compensation plans, and operational reporting, along with process management to drive our daily operations. As such, the candidate will be a strategic advisor on operational guidance across revenue functions.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy: Lead cross-functional team including Marketing, Customer Success, Services and Sales to establish pipeline and revenue plans aligned to growth objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Create and regularly review performance data to track overall performance across functions. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Revenue Forecasting: Utilize historical data and current pipeline health to create accurate forecasts, allowing for better resource allocation and decision-making.
- Sales Compensation: Design and implement sales compensation plans that align with company objectives, motivate sales staff, and drive productive behavior.
- Skill Development: Collaborate with sales leaders to design sales training programs to optimize individual and team performance.
- Sales Processes: Own the revenue lifecycle through analysis of the sales funnel, identifying bottlenecks, standardize lead qualification criteria, automating workflows, and create clear handoff points between teams.
- Technology: Evaluate, implement, and manage revenue-related technologies, including CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
- Foster Collaboration: Encourage interdepartmental cooperation and function as a neutral third-party within the company to ensure a unified approach to achieving company objectives.
- Manage Risks: Identify and develop strategies to mitigate revenue risks.
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or similar qualification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue/sales operations, senior sales roles, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- 5+ years of experience with revenue systems such as CRM platforms (Salesforce), automation tools, and financial modeling software.
- 2+ years of senior leadership experience leading function in B2B SaaS growth environment.
- Experience building the RevOps infrastructure from the ground up in a challenging fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in SaaS metrics, the B2B sales cycle, and operational reporting.
- A proven record in exceeding revenue targets.
- A data-first mindset with drive for insights and accuracy of reporting.
